UNC vs FSU game thread ACC tournament on: Thursday 14 March 2024

This is a very tough first game as FSU and UNC have already played twice this season and both games were battles and Carolina won them both but the contests ended up being very close.

Florida State plays about 10 players and like always they are big up front and also have big guards.

Florida State have already got one game under their belt with their win over Virginia Tech yesterday and they looked impressive.

Most importantly Carolina cannot come out slow and still be enjoying the Duke win last Saturday

No more rules on NIL? Gov. Cooper rescinds state's guidance

Posted Mar 13, 2024
After a federal court decision stopped the NCAA's enforcement of rules around name, image and likeness in college athletics, North Carolina Gov. Roy Cooper rescinded an 2021 executive order that imposed modest guidelines for the state. He said the decision came in consultation with college athletic programs. NC State AD Boo Corrigan said flexibility is key. (WRAL Sports Fan)

David Worlock tweet

I actually met him a couple of weeks ago. I was still working in the press room at the Smith Center following the Friday presser the day before State visited UNC. Bubba was showing him around, so I got to meet him.

Anyway, he's the NCAA Director of Media Coordination/Statistics. Media Coordinator for March Madness. he posted this tweet a few hours ago.

Unleash your Madness Sweepstakes

Join Autograph's referral sweepstakes for a shot at winning big this March. They're sending lucky winners to the luxury Hideaway Suite at Crypto.com Arena for the Elite 8 game in LA, covering everything from tickets to flights and hotels.

The Hideaway Suite is a new luxury box at Crypto.com Arena, and with over 2 million dollars in interior upgrades, it is the most expensive suite in the country. The “secret” suite is at this point invite-only; it’s the kind of place that you can’t get into without connections…and Autograph is your ticket in.

This may work out perfectly for UNC fans, since there's a great chance the Tar Heels end up in the West Region.

Here's the scoop:
  • Each referral you drive will grant one (1) entry in both the Random Drawing Sweepstakes and the Referral Contest for each person you refer who (until 03/15) downloads the App using your referral code when registering for an Autograph account. The eligible fan who has accumulated the most referrals during the Sweepstakes period will win a trip for two to the Elite 8 in LA.
  • In the Random Drawing Sweepstakes, one (1) winner will be selected in a random drawing composed of all eligible entries received. The prize for the Random Drawing Sweepstakes includes travel, hotel accommodations, select meals including a VIP dinner, and suite tickets for the winner and up to seven (7) guests.
