I know we miss Brady's outside shooting. But it isn't just that.

Last year down the stretch, a couple of times a game, Brady would leave the perimeter and get to the baseline at the edge of the backboard. RJ would drive and dish to Brady, who would turn, take a quick step and put it in.

I saw that play last week for the first time this season. It was Armando at that spot receiving the dime from RJ. I was delighted to see that play. I hoped it meant we could be heading into another great stretch run.

Last night RJ drove again and again. He got to where that play would work . . . if only someone had been there to receive the dish. But instead, the play usually ended with a block and RJ on his back on the floor.

Why can't Pete do that? Why can't Puff do that? Jalen? Leaky? Styles? Surely someone can fill the Brady role in that play.

I don't get it. What am I missing?

Couldn’t remember the details but watched the Illinois game yesterday and he’s more comparable to Manek than Nance.

I really am at a loss for words after listening to Hubert’s post game press conference. It’s like he recites quotes for the book of coaching and thinks every other team is fantastic and holds zero accountability. At least Roy would admit he let his team down with his coaching and wouldn’t sugar coat anything. Hubert doesn’t have the nuts to say his team got screwed by officiating just that North Carolina only shots 3 free throws the whole game. He needs to stop being so damn positive about everything and start calling people out starting with himself and his players. Hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard and this has been our team mantra the whole year. Things should have changed several games ago but if Hubert wants to salvage this season at all he needs to get kissed and let everyone on the team no about it. Wtf would you draw a play up for someone to shoot a three in a critical game that was 0-7? There better be so serious soul searching done or this year will be the greatest underperformance of any tarheel team ever. You got one more chance Hubert then I am calling it quits!!!

With all due respect to Sanford and Son that is a unbelievable stat and a even GREATER STAT is ZERO ft attempts in the second half. Yes I would like to say that attempting 27 three point shots has a lot to do with the lack of getting to the line but how can one player have 10 blocks and 14 rebounds without also being called at least once or twice for a foul with the body.

I will give credit to Dereck Lively who only had 4 points but was the difference in the game defensively blocking all kinds of Carolina shots in close and getting a tons of offensive rebounds in the second half which gave Duke so many second chance opportunities but again how can one player have 10 blocks and 14 rebounds without fouling out.

Will we get to see Washington vs Lively?

Who gets the job of guarding Filipowski? I don't want Armando out on the perimeter. Can Pete handle him?

Even though he isn't one of their top guys, I think Mitchell could be a problem for us. Can we afford to put Leaky on him?

If Whitehead is healthy, can Caleb handle him, or is that another job for Leaky?

I hope Seth has regained enough confidence to give us strong D in the backcourt. With him and Dunn off the bench, I think we have the edge in the backcourt. But that assumes Hubert puts them to good use, and that Seth isn't overwhelmed by the rivalry glitz.

Went 1/10 from the field (0/5 from 3) with 2 points and 5 rebounds in 30 minutes! He is 1/10 from 3 in his last 2 games. We need to find someone else (Nickel) who can confidently shoot the 3 ball.

Is that legal?

We've already played 22 and will finish the regular season with 31.

It looks like we are down to a single bye in the ACCT, and could slip to no bye at all. Meaning another 5 games = 36.

Then if we are a play-in game to get to the NCAAT, we could play 7 games there = 43.

Did I do that right?
