I was referring specifically to UNC athletics, since we've never played in an NY6 game. I might still prefer the CWS but would love to play on New Years.

If we win tonight don’t play again until Friday then if can win then not again to Monday so could use him in pen for 2 games and still as a starter next week

College World Series is confusing. Why are we playing Mississippi State now? Shouldn't we have more games to play with OSU? Weird.
8 teams left. 2 Brackets. We beat OSU so we play the winner of th Miss St/Wash game and OSU goes to th loser bracket. Miss St won so we play them and Wash goes to loser bracket. Double elimination. The loser of our game will play the winner of the loser bracket.
Goes back to bracket format, then best of three from the winner of each bracket. It's basically just like the regional and super regional set up.

I actually like it. It forces coaches and teams to use some strategy over the course of the tournament. They've got to figure out how to manage their pitching staff and lineup so they aren't worn out.
I'm pulling for the Huskies to eliminate the Beavs . . OSU is just too good of a team and I want those good squads gone sooner rather than later.
