How? Who knows just making a point, what would happen if a certain amount of schools decided to pay for there own personal team, and just pay them like they do there administration?
NCAA, I am pretty sure is a big part of allowing college athletes to play extra games.
They are already in the process. That is what the mega conferences are for. The cap is set from the average of those big boys. Top tier, top pay.
It's looking good for us. Pitt who he was seriously considering landed a 4 star CG yesterday.
NCAA only has the basketball tournament. The big money is in football, and only getting bigger. That's why I think it's just a matter of time until the now big 4 conferences get together to create their own entity.
That’s what I thought about Football…The NCAA has only March Madness…They do have FCS playoffs but the FBS or College Football Playoff is a thing by itself and the NCAA recognizes who they award as champion…
Also do you think it will be a Big 4…I am thinking a Big 2 Conferences…Meaning teams in the ACC and Big 12 will either move up and join the BIG and SEC and the rest will drop down and play at the FCS level….Or do away with Football all together and a lot of other sports that lose money…

That is called, I saw what I wanted and I better move quick because there are others that the school is looking at for my role, maybe I need to take it now or risk someone else beating me to it. When you see them start cancelling visits they have found what they were looking for and many times they found int on the last visit they were on. Mullins is set to visit us in the next few days, Dixon may feeling the heat of that visit.
It would be pretty embarrassing to lose this guy to Pitt. Hopefully he'll publicly announce for UNC in a couple weeks.
Good chance that Capel will be gone after this year unless they win…Pitt just fired the current AD…
He is 46-23 overall and 26-14 in conference over the last 2 seasons. He could move on if he was inclined to do so but he's not in any danger of getting fired. He just signed an extension in July.
Seems to be our problem these bidding wars and we are losing them in FB and BB way too much
Don’t know about Football as Mack and company have pretty much changed the whole approach but everything I have read and heard about Coach Davis and staff is they have a set number for a player and they don’t budge off that number..Meaning they are not getting into bidding wars…We will see how that works moving forward…

Tennessee is increasing ticket prices to fund their NIL 5 home games times $10 times 100,000 tickets is a large fund to pay players.
And by doing so could pay ONE 5* player like AJ Dybsanta for a year of service!

Wow.... Is it really worth it anymore to root for college sports. Can't recruit without giving a kid a million for a season that they probably will not even average 20 pts a game.
You develop a kid for a year or two and expect him/her to be ready to contribute, but they just transfer and play somewhere else.
I wish UNC basketball would just pay each player 100k, get the best coaches, and go from there. No need playing games with recruiting anymore

Mullins has canceled his Dook visit. That's two recruits now who have canceled visits after visiting us. The othee being Dixon.
Anybody canceling puke is already a winner in my book!

He's well liked at Pitt. They are probably landing Dixon. Maybe 60/40 in Pitt's favor but you never know with NIL (UNC is offering more).

A part of Mullins observation while watching the boys practice, HD kept stressing he wants to he the fastest team in the country this year. That was music to my ears.
Love the natural physical gifts of Mr. Mullins. I really love the attitude, motor, and team first attitude! The kid is a throwback and would absolutely thrive at UNC! Dixon is a swiss army knife type who is savvy and skilled too. He has grit and a killer will! Both seem tailor-made to be Family!
Just hope he doesn’t commit this weekend on the visit to IU…
Considering we're going to have to play a lot of small ball to get our most talented players on the floor together (Cadeau, Davis, Jackson, Trimble, Powell, Tyson) we better be trying to run as much as possible.
