Pretty much what I have seen him as, a long armed 2 that can play some 3, Cappy Jack lite, Cappy is a good bit quicker feet and hands.
The next time someone from Davidson Day boxes out the free throw shooter on a free throw will be the first time. I know Davidson Day is a well coached team, but sheesh, can somebody say “I got the shooter”?

This sucks....I think he's get by any means necessary type player.
UK fan here . Caleb Wilson gave a nice interview on KSR yesterday. Of course it was slanted to UK fans but he said some interesting things. Seems like a very smart and sensible guy . To me it sounds like he loves UNC and Hubert Davis , really likes UK but wants to see how Mark Pope coaches, and likes Cal but doesn’t know anything about Arkansas.

Remember we don't play the pay game ... guess we get the cheap players ... heck Dook,UK,Bama & Arky benches get more $$ than our whole team ... NIL sucks especially when even schools with no tradition now out recruit unc or pay $$ while we refuse
Hubert chewed out some big donors a couple weeks ago. He wants to play the pay game. He's simply not being given the money to compete.
Maybe not, but I'm sure Hubert Davis does... Consider it an investment, I think AJD is going to be 1 of those kids everyone wants to watch...boosting UNC stock back up.

Wilson just canceled his visit to Arkansas... He was at the Kentucky game the other day, based on past history I am gonna say thats a done deal with them now.

Seems like we don’t have the money for the top talent or wont pay their asking price so we have to settle for the leftovers who may be here for more than one year unless someone ponies up the money to steal them away
Whatever the root cause is, Carolina needs to figure things out in this new world of recruiting. When you look at the bluebloods, we seem to be the only one struggling to land top recruits this year.
The new world of college basketball sucks. Instead of blue bloods we are talking about the green backs.
Uconn seems to be on a crazy role with recruiting lately. I wonder what their NIL is like? Im sure a big factor is playing for Hurley though since they are close to being a dynasty
I’m not sure about their NIL, but they’ve got the most successful coach from the past 5 years with NBA draft picks to boot and that is getting them a lot of interest.
I can’t fault any recruit wanting to play at UConn. Championships and players going to the NBA are still valuable recruiting tools.
Whether UNC has the funds or not, Hubert still has to prove to recruits he’s more than just a nice guy.
I believe the program is in a good space for Hubert to prove his chops…. He just has to do it.

From what I heard someone from Duke had that same problem in the Kentucky game
Isiah Denis has good offensive tools, but he was a turnstile on defense in the first game of the season.
That will change at the next level when he gets stronger and is preached defensive approach.
I personally think Derrick Dixon is further along and will play sooner as a Freshman.
Dixon reminds me some of Bobby Frasor. He won't wow you physically but he is constantly making correct plays and the right reads. I think Dixon is probably a better shooter than Frasor was coming out of HS too.
Don't forget Bobby started at pg as a true freshman the year after or top 7 scorers moved on after the 2005 Natty.
The 2006 team was one of the most satisfying seasons I have had watching Carolina basketball, and was Roy Williams best coaching job.
