Took a week to travel across the country. He could've hitched rides or hopped a train. In any event, this was my favorite part of the article: "Filippidis was found wearing the same ski gear, including the helmet and goggles, he was last seen in when he was reported missing." I hope the dude slept in them and wore them into McDonald's and stuff.
Right?! If this dude is trying to get over on everybody, he’s at least going the full monty. I can appreciate his commitment.

He even explains the pyramids, Tower of Babel, the Bible and anything else you can think to ask him.

Any updates on this guy and how he got to Cali ? In the press conference they said they did not believe he flew to Cali ? Not on an air plane any way !

Any one know of any updates on this story ? I am curious how a man gets off a mountain and across the country with no i.d. no money and no credit without stories coming out of folks saying hey I gave him a ride from Ny to chicago and some one else saying Yea I picked him up in Chicago and drove him to Kansas and so on and so on.

They still don't know, but "The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department ... say he believed he travelled most of the way in a transport truck and was not the victim of any crime."
Thanks for the bump. Get this. The cops still aren't sure how he got there. This is as of two days ago.

Seems like the guy could say yea a Estes Express lines driver pick me up or Old Dominion or J.B. Hunt driver or some kind of info to iron out his story. What is the theory on eliminating the possibilities and what you have left is most likely the truth regardless of how unlikely it seems. I will have to google it. I love google !
