The longer this lingers the more it looks like he sits remainder of season to not chance an injury. Can’t say I blame him.

As soon as I saw the FBI investigation Update I immediately wondered if Bagley was on the bench due to fear from the dook staff. I also wondered about Bagley or his camp making the decision to sit him, for whatever time frame they see fit. And hey, if Kay doesn't like it, what's he gonna do? Bench him in the NBA next year? Pretty sure his reach doesn't extend quite that far.

Soapy, where that breaks down for me is he has already played at this point most of the season, nothing to lose now (from the duke side) if they catch them what is the difference at this point, may as well double down and pray they can prove? The injury does look to me like a cover story of some sorts simply because I didn't see an injury or him play as if he had one. But is it the Bagley camp shutting it down or something else that duke is falling back on the private school deal to not have to release?

Bagley's circumstances were so ridiculous that they overshadowed Duval's from only a few months prior. Duval committed in a similar way to Brian Bowen - the one that brought down Louisville.

I expect k to have a litany of buffers in this scheme, but dook's mere implication would be enough for me. That, and maybe bringing down the 2015 banner. Wishful thinking there.
