So I’ve posted my mishaps at the local bojangles before but this was something special. Now I’ll just say eating at this bojangles is like gambling. You usually don’t like the results but that one taste of success is enough to keep you coming back and it is my fav fast food. So it had been at least a year since I had been so I figured it was time to roll the dice again. First of all much to my shock AI took my order. And it went much smoother than I would have guessed especially since I wanted tomato on my Cajun biscuit. AI handled it no prob but the whole experience was like a sci fi movie. So I drive around to the window and I meet a full blown, bottle cap glasses wearing….adding the letter “t” to every word…. Down’s syndrome guy. He greets me, takes my card and runs it, (after holding it about an inch from his face and studying it intently) and advises me there’s gonna be a wait on my “bo-berry bithits” and closes the window. So we wait. And wait….while I contemplate having my order taken by a robot and giving my credit card to someone mentally retarded. Then suddenly the side entrance bursts open and the downs dude pokes his head out, looks both ways….and takes off running full speed. his arms are straight at his side and he’s looking straight down and disappears into the night going towards Home Depot. So I’m thinking thank god I’m not high right now. Anyway a trans person, and I don’t know if it’s a guy being a girl or vice versa, I just know there’s a lot of ambiguity going on, hands me this huge bag with obviously more than I ordered. The line is backed up and I don’t feel like digging through it, I just figure there’s bound to be something edible in all the boxes so I just say fuk it and drive off. I exit the plaza and go slowly down to the first light and there’s the downs guy running beside the road. I pull along side him and roll my window down and ask him if everything’s okay and he tells me “yeth I’m on my break”. So I’m pretty sure I’m hallucinating by now, but I make it home and they actually got my order right and the food was great. I also got the person behind me’s order and I think the next person as well. I’ll be back. Ten out of ten.
