Bolden to Duke

Look all I'm saying is this: if Duke OAD kids go back to get their degrees, doesn't that mean something? Irving, Parker, rivers, have all said they plan to get their degrees. Okafor is getting his as we speak. I just think it goes both ways. If you're going to slight a program for using the OAD approach then you have to acknowledge it if those kids go back and get their degrees.

I'm all for Okafor going back and getting his degree. If he's in a classroom he can't be out on the streets starting fist fights with guys half his size...

DSOUTH, lol I know you [expletive] with me. And I know you know what I meant. No sensitivity here sir and yes in technical terms you are correct!

To me it shows that they have the desire to finish something that they started even though they decided to take an outstanding financial and life time dream of going to the NBA....they have chosen to come back to the place that they started where they have established friendships and bonds w/ the coaches and players and to be around something that they truly enjoyed....they left because they pursued a dream and also probably return to continue to pursue another dream......since Kyrie in 2011, Duke has had essentially 1 OAD each year, minus 2013 that didn't have any....2015 is the current anomaly and it yielded a natty (jones and winslow struck when the iron was hot they happened to be freshman, but the same way as the guys from your 2005 natty team struck when the iron was hot)....2016, back to 1 OAD....this years crew has bigger OAD potential than 2015 but the results remain to be seen yet....duke is hot right now in recruiting and are putting together good classes that consist of top OAD talent as well as 2-4 year players for balance

WE enjoy our guys coming back and getting their degrees to. Good idea for Ochafor to get out of Philly for the summer and get back to a place that he will not have to fight on the streets! LOL

Reckom maybe with all that one & done talent duke has for next season they can win at least 1 out right regular season championship in this decade? LOL

Those 2-4yrs guys would help ya more if they didn't transfer out as rapidly yeah? ;-)

well since our last shared 1st place ACC reg season finish (2009-2010 w/ 4 2nd finishes, 1 3rd, 1 5th)...we are 210-47 82% winning percent w/ 2 ACC Tourneys...2 NATTY'S...1 E8...2 S16....and 2 early outs....so the cupboard isnt bare..=)............only player of note that has left recently is gbinjie and i remember him talking about OAD and was in school for 5 years....our transfer rate is greater than yours, but as compared to college basketball isnt that substantial in my opinion...when big name stars start to transfer out then ill be concerned

OK, but again, do ya reckon with all this one & done talent duke will finally win a out right ACC regular season in this decade cause they didn't in the last 10yrs? LOL

And boogie, i enjoy banter with ya man, guessing I do not need to explain the difference between shared and out right? ;-)

Well the majority of your stars do leave after only 1 season, ahhhhh...hhhhh wants to call that a transfer if tar heels do it so why don't we just apply that same logic? LOL

hahaha..yeah i know the diff...last outright was 2005-2006...but with the unbalanced schedule, its great to lay claim, but everyone doesnt have the same road...heck in 2015, we were 15-3 and that was good for 2nd, think uva finished 16-2, we did our part beating them the 1x we played them.....some teams rack up wins against the bottom dwellers and only play the top teams that season a few times in total...but duke has consistently pretty much been top3 for the most part...and i dont agree that the majority of our stars leave after one year...we got plenty of stars, the ones that have OAD aspirations and are deemed lottery picks have gone since 2011...which is 6 lotto picks in 6 years

boogie boogie boogie, dribble dribble squirt, that is kinda what I read in that reply, but I agree, Uva did let that one slip to the lesser team...LOL The history book says that 16/2 team won the regular season and that 15/3 team didn't...LOL

snarky much today...anyways, but yeah 5 ACC tourneys and 2 National Titles in that same time frame since the last outright reg. season title more than make amends for some unbalanced ACC regular season futility....and that lesser team was the eventual 2015 National Champs;-)

Actually just the opposite, not a bad mood at all, kinda smiling today and not taking a lot serious I read on the boards today. I am John Wick today! LOL
