The good news for the ACC: not only is there not a single ACC team on the Bottom 10, but there is not a single ACC team on its 'Waiting List.' ACC football is factually decent, so far.
There is, however an ACC connection. OU is in the vaunted #5 slot, which is reserved not for an actual 'among to 10 worst in the country' team, but for a team that is underachieving even if still headed to a bowl. Clemson's loss of DC Venables was assumed by some ro5 mean that the Tigers would taken a dive, but Clemson looks better than last year's 10 win team while OU looks like a host of UNC teams: talent that is not going to produce what it should. We will know by his 3rd year if Venables has much of a shot to deliver as aOU HC.
