He really should. The thing is, Mack Brown won't tell him to go elsewhere. Drakes loyalty is strong, and I admire that. But, it could cost him some $$$ and, maybe, his health.
Yep... they are an elite football program. They have been for most of their time in the ACC.
He originally committed somewhere else and had to be convinced to come here. He may have loyalty as a fan, but I don't think that would hold him here.
I wonder who will actually be the next failure here? I'm not even sure Saban could get to 10 wins.

I still think the Drake shine has worn off a good bit over the last 3 weeks. It's not all his fault, but I don't see how he's still got tens of millions luring him away.

I'm not trying to flame here, but you people are calling out holding against Clemson? Go back and watch this game again. I have never seen such blatant holding by an offensive line as this UNC OL tonight. And the refs are just letting it go. So, go back and watch the video, and you will get a good understanding about what holding is. UNC could get ropes and lasso the Clemson DL and not get called. Dabo should turn this over to the conference head of officials, even though Clemson won the game big. I will save this game when it comes out on YouTube so that I can show/teach people what holding is.
Red zone 2/5 for 10 points 💩. Defense had 0 sacks, 2 TFL and got beat by a FR QB. Honestly, just burn it all down at this point.

Why would he stay another year? Can he make an NFL roster? Yes. Are there good odds that Mack and his staff can win the ACC in 2023? NO!. What are the odds that Mack and staff can get UNC into a 4-team playoff in 2023? Slim and next to none. What are the odds that Mack can win at least 10 regular season games in 2023 and also win a Major Bowl? Well, when was the last time that Mack did both?
Is it possible that Mack can be more energetic and driven and hungry, even sharper of mind in 2023? Possible? yeah, sure - just like it's possible that Mack might suddenly get his natural hair color back without any dyes.

There already are Arkansas people, talking about the possibility of Criswell returning to his home state. Jefferson is coming back, but Hornsby is in the portal, and Arkansas has no other QB waiting in the wings.
Those kinds of questions are going to be poised by everyone recruiting against us and by every UNC player thinking about the NFL early or the portal. And those questions do not even include Mack's age.
