Well if the defense did that 180 I mentioned then they easily could. The offense looks awesome at times. Drake is really good, young RB's are studs, and lots of guys catching balls all over the field.
But the defense will continue to suck.

FAMU is missing... 25 of their starters??? Right?
So, you gotta figure that the offense will not be as effective against a "real team."
The UNC defense is playing against an offense that should have been shut-out, if the team were worth a damn. Imagine if FAMU hadn't gifted UNC that INT late in the 2nd qtr.... or that fumble. It might have been a loss.
The offense looks good, but they're playing a depleted team. The defense is going to get absolutely murdered this year. Unless Grimes gets healthy and has some kind of mojo magic that makes all the rest play well.
Well Im going to try to be positive.. maybe with the new defensive coaching staff might take a few games to get everyone on the same page.
I don't think they ended up missing nearly that many guys but I'll have to double check the reports. From what I read it ended up being something of a ploy, there was never any real question about the game being played. They're definitely missing some guys though. But the fact that is an FCS team means it shouldn't matter whether they have their starters or not. We should be able to beat the shit out of them at full strength

Credit to Drake Maye and the offense. If he plays like THIS??? We'll be in every game. But, as always... year after year... the porous defense will cost us many games.
Man criswell has seemed to checked out already. Better make sure Harrell stays prepared.

Never said they didn't. But to say FAMU is fielding a team minus 25 STARTERS, is a false narrative.
With the way he's looked on the sideline I'd just play Harrell in clean up time to send a message.
Offense is going to do big things for the next several years. For the love of all that is good please find a way to put together a good defense...
Hampton and Pettaway were ranked pretty high. Imagine if these freshmen could deliver like this every week? Still wish Brooks was in there.
