A season @ #1 would help. But when you're talking about a top 5 class, these days you can pencil in Duke, UK, and at least 1 of AZ/KU. Might be tough, although a top 10 class is reasonable.

We already have a pretty good guard coming in '17...
As to '16, Roy has offers to the top ten kids, many of the second and third "tens" and kids of which we have no real knowledge...wide net, yep, will we enroll some student/athletes out of the bunch, yep.
I'm good, staff is good and Roy is good. UNC will be UNC in '2016.
Hubert is fine, BUT the rest need to bow out and be replaced with coaches who kids think are cool and hip and they can relate to!!!!!!!
If this was 10-20 years ago we would never have James, or Vince or MJ, or Tyler, or Sam, or Ty,etc. -(if it was like this back then)
Okay, so it has been clarified...UNC is missing on recruits because our staff isn't young & hip, kinda like Dean when he was bringing in Cunningham, Miller, Scott, Clark or moving forward, Worthy, Perkins, O'Koren, Stack, 'Sheed, Vince, Antwan, and so on... I guess Self, Cal, K, Izzo, are too young and hip to compete against on the recruiting trail.

I have supreme confidence in our staff and their work ethic on the recruiting trail. They're playing on an unlevel field right now though. I love that Roy is casting a wider net, this class is too crucial to miss on.
A lot of players blossom late in HS basketball, and are overlooked when it comes to the ranking of HS players. UNC might miss out on top 100 talent for a year or two, but still should be in a great place for guys that need a year or two to develope. In the end UNC will be in contention this year for the final four and two years after this year we will be right back in the same position as the incoming players develope. I know it may seem terrible we are not getting the one and done players right now, but the results will be the same. Every 2-3 years UNC is in the mix for a national title.
