That can be helped with good coaching to get him to focus on how to foul intentionally - just nick the ball out of play to stay alive at the plate. Teams that can do that make opposing pitchers work much harder.

AS bad as last night's game felt from then start, the fact is that with a couple timely hits we did not get, we easily could have been tied in the 9th. So winning this one is more than just possible. But it takes the team being ready as a team. Heads have to be in the right place.
