I wish silly people would stop tying to juxtapose CK against Pat Tillman. They’re not even remotely comparable.
Agreed. One is a hero and the other is an attention whore.

Tough choice for me. On the one hand I have bad knees and it would be uncomfortable kneeling on one of them. On the other hand, my back has been bothering me today and it's a little sore when I stand. So would I. Kneeling is easy. If I stood with Trump I'd get labeled some sort of white supremacist. If I knelt with Kaep I'd get labeled a champion of the disenfranchised - without really having to do anything of value at all.
Probably @gunslingerdick.I don't want to kneel or stand. I'd rather lie down. I'm tired. Who's the "lie down" representative?

He caught a case of gonorrhea from some guy he did an Eiffel tower with. Apparently there was some complications since it was in his ass and throat. Hope it didn't kill him.I've PM'd that guy a number of times and I got no answer. He apparently just up and vanished. Shame too because by the way you guys talk about him, he is a got damn legend.

I'm not familiar with her work, but she always seemed like some who prefers being on her knees.I dunno, Stormy Daniels . . ?

I'm skeptical of those numbers, but if it saves me money I'm ok with it.
Oooh, right?! Good suggestion. I'm down with the "lie down with Stormy" protest method.

So now Colin Kapernick is the real life Al Bundy, he sucked at football so now he's selling shoes, makes sense.
What's the point, I figure my chances of signing an NFL contract are just as good as his right now.Sucked at football? Lets see your highlight tape...

How is this ad campaign suggesting that he's not being hired because of his political views? I don't think this ad campaign is focusing on his employment status. I could be wrong.I'm not against this guy being used in an ad campaign but this particular campaign suggests he isn't in the NFL because of his political views. Not true. He isn't playing because he is not an NFL level QB. Just like Tebow isn't out of the NFL because he's a Christian. First and foremost the NFL is a sports entertainment business. If a team thought they could win with him he would have a job
That’s not entirely true either. Kap has been offered jobs recently and turned them down. For better or worse, he’s running with this thing.I'm not against this guy being used in an ad campaign but this particular campaign suggests he isn't in the NFL because of his political views. Some people think that he hasn't been signed because of his views based on conspiracy theories and some evidence from the NFL. That would be the sacrifice and the campaign is built around his "sacrifice."How is this ad campaign suggesting that he's not being hired because of his political views? Agreed.I can't really blame him for it either. I assume he's making more off that Nike ad/endorsement than he would as a 2nd/3rd string QB somewhere. Due to the polarity of his message, media outlets are all over it (both for and against), and he's certainly getting more publicity/notoriety from this. If I were in his shoes I'd rather have the set-up he has now as opposed to being a backup QB in the league... provided I could get past having to look like a jackass to get it (shouldn't be too hard since I'm generally fine looking like a jackass as is).

I’m fairly indifferent on all of it but kudos to anyone who steps out and walks the unpopular road.
Polarizing road would be more appropriate I suppose. Not me. A second string QB is the life. You get paid well, don’t have to worry that much about getting your brain scrambled and you can go out to eat with your family without getting mobbed. Sign me up.
Im glad to hear that he’s become more informed (albeit with misinformation IMO but whatever - it clearly shows commitment) but I can’t abide you calling his path “the unpopular road”. If it was truly the unpopular road, we would have forgotten about Kaep a while back and he wouldn’t have a Nike endorsement. It’s the opposite of the unpopular road. It’s so popular that he’s exponentially more famous from his political stance than he ever would have been from playing football.
You might want to check your math on that one sporty spice
Not in the mood. That's his typical MO. When you ignore childish behavior it usually goes away. Can't believe everyone just passed with no comment on the insult "sporty spice".
You've got the craziest stories. I would say I'd like to go hangout with you, but I would be a tourist and we know how you feel about those. The clerk at goodwill got all snippy and told my wife “i hope u wore those (nikes) in here to donate them”. My wife dgaf about this shit, doesnt watch the news, and had no idea what she was talking about. When i explained it all to her she blew up and went back and made a scene. Said she’ll wear wtf she pleases and if she does take em off it will be to “shove them up your ass”. Lol. (Sigh) God somebody kill me.
