This one seems to be taking a track similar to Hurricane Hugo in 1989. That one did major damage with flooding and trees down along with power outages for days and weeks in some areas from Charleston and the South Carolina coast all the way up to my area west of Charlotte and beyond.

We’ve decided to leave Wednesday also. Thankfully my wife bought the vacation insurance this year (we’ve never done it before), so we should get reimbursed for the days that are considered mandatory evacuation days.
