No thanks on the bet, I think betting our future is more than enough.
I posted the same thing in the Talk Trump" thread. One step closer to putting another Clinton in the White House.
The angry white guy vote might be enough to get Trump the GOP nomination but there's not a snowball's chance in h*ll it'll win him the general election.
That's what I don't understand. Most of the people who are voting for him know he has no chance. It just doesn't make sense.....The angry white guy vote might be enough to get Trump the GOP nomination but there's not a snowball's chance in h*ll it'll win him the general election.

You doubling down on your prediction that Trump has no chance to win GOP nomination?
Man, your faith that Hillary won't be President is encouraging. But I have to ask why. Why are you so sure?
I don't remember ever saying I didn't think it was possible for him to win the nomination but I have said many times I don't think he has a chance winning the White House. You doubling down on your prediction that Trump has no chance to win GOP nomination?
forgot who i bet with on this board, but i'm even more confident now that bill clinton will be back in the white house.
if only he were gay and married to michael bloomberg.

That will be a neat trick after she's been indicted, stripped of her security clearances, and unable to attend any classified briefings. One step closer to putting another Clinton in the White House.
Never... going... to... happen! NEVER!That will be a neat trick after she's been indicted, stripped of her security clearances, and unable to attend any classified briefings.
Want to bet Jules?
The models being used now assume turnout will be approximately the same as in 2008 and 2012. I have more confidence in global warming models than I do in turnout matching 2012.
Not all Republicans are as "pissed off" as Trump supporters, though. In fact, Trump currently has less support than any Republican candidate in recent memory, as evidenced by the fact that he runs a real risk of not having the nomination locked up before the convention. This is exactly right. What makes folks think that the pissed off voters will only vote in the Primary? That is just stupid. If anything, MORE pissed off people will go out and vote in the General because that's what "really matters."

I think it will actually be the other side's candidate who drives turnout on both sides. Even Democrats who aren't happy about Hillary's nomination (like me) will show up to vote against Trump. And vice versa. There's so much animosity for both candidates that this election could get ugly.
that reminded me of an in living color sketch...
as for people that will use that as a legit message, i'd be concerned about an angry mob.
I'm not sure why there is any doubt Donald Trump can win. In a way, he should win. He is a perfect reflection of what a huge portion of our society stands for and has become. To whatever extent he scares the members of the political parties, that's great. If it means he's beyond their control... awesome. Where it becomes more dangerous, is that he seems to be beyond his own control.
trump is the perfect wrestling promoter
Yep- it made you laugh, just like those sketches used to.
This is not about trying to appeal to reason, this is about getting people to vote. One has very little to do with the other.
Excellent analogy. And just how has Vince McMahon done for himself?
he's already fractured the party he claims to be a part of...don't get me wrong, it's highly entertaining for me, mostly because both parties disgust me, but this could backfire for him...and of course he'll be fine because i don't think he cares either way, but what if people get so caught up in this moment that they realize it's not about reason?
it'd be great to see more than 2/3 of the population vote...i don't think it'll happen, but i've got my popcorn ready.
oddly enough, they've had very similar lives, minus all the marriages by donald.
vince failed big time with cross promotion, so perhaps that might link them for life after hillary beats his ass this fall.
