I haven't heard anything to suggest he's planning to retire, but at 70 Izzo strikes me as one of those aging coaches who may not want to play much longer in this new NIL world. He's always struck me as the kind of coach who develops his players - and got good results that way. Like Roy. Having to scavenge for portal players who don't know the Izzo way might not appeal.
