Day = Complete

Pro move. RH and myself do this as well. It hurts me that @toophly1124 has never been to a game in Kenan. That's gonna be remedied this fall.

So wth do you guys do AFTER the game? I'll probably bring my girl and we'll just get a hotel in Chapel Hill somewhere.

That's NOT a swinger invite I was jw if y'all hung out after games too or just parted ways.

Well.... as for me, depending on the opponent and how nervous I am about the game, I'm generally teetering on blackout range once the game ends. LOL j/k . . . that's only happened twice, and both times was because my dad took me bar hopping after and I can't keep up.

This season, I really want to start consistently doing what I call "Tailgate 2" and stick around for awhile afterwards. @Raising Heel is my DD generally because I drive from my place in Atlanta up to his place in CLT and then he drives us to the game. Him and I are trying to get all our ducks in a row so that we can have a TV at our tailgate for this year. If we pull that off, and if the game is at noon or 330 (so, yes, it will be), then there's no reason to not stick around for a little while after the game.

Sometimes, I like to head to Franklin after the game -- especially after a win -- and catch a meal at either Four Corners or Fitzgerald's (which I guess has re-opened as "Might As Well").

I LOL'd

Word. Can't wait brethren. I was wondering how you got black out drunk and still made it home. Lol My gf LOVES hotels so she'll most definitely wanna stick around Chapel Hill for the night. Think I've asked before but don't remember. Does anyone else bring their female counterpart? I'd hate to be the only OOTBer that brought sand to the beach.

I'd like to bring mine to a game this season, but generally she's too busy on weekends. Although, if I brought her, she wouldn't let me smoke. So there's pros and cons.

And she loves hotels? You should convert some of your Bovada winnings and book a room at the Siena on East Franklin. Expensive AF but it's really nice.

One of these days, I need to be social and do this. But, you know, sunshine and social interaction and stuff.
Bruh, you got to. The food spread @grillheel's crew brings is worth the trip (assuming they'll share)

Is that like the Italian style hotel? Also called Il
Palio or something like that? Siena sounds familiar. If it's the same hotel we stayed there last year after the beat down of Miami at the Dome. Very nice indeed. Hung out at the bar all night and ate fancy olives while drinking fancy bourbons.

Yes ^ I think Il Palo is the name of the bar attached to it. I checked, though, and it's already all booked up for the weekend of September 9th. Lotta rich folk come to Carolina football games.

Here's my take, both sandwiches are very close in goodness. Each has winning points. But the waffle fries suck. Plus Bojangles has seasoned fries and lots of choices for sides

Here's the thing, and I know I'm weird about this, but I don't want employees at a fast food restaurant to be nice because I know it's 100% fake. You work fast food, so I know you hate your job. Cut the crap. McDonald's employees though, them SOB's are real. They don't say hey to me, they don't give AF how the hell I'm doing, they just hand me a bag of crap and let me go on. That's how it needs to be.

This is where I'm at too. Like, I don't necessarily want them to be straight up rude to me - but at the same time don't insult my intelligence by pretending to be overly nice when we both know you'd enjoy nothing more than telling me to GFM. And for the love of God, don't try to spark up an actual conversation with me - just give me my food so I can get the hell out of there.

Must be nice...closest Zaxby's to me is about 1.5 hours away. At least we have BoJangles.

So this thread started at Bojangles, made its way to Chick-fil-A, and then finished up at Zaxby's. Basically a tour of fried chicken thread.

Anybody ever make homemade fried chicken? Don't think I've ever heard anyone on this thread mention it. This sounds totally weird, but I think the last time I had homemade fried chicken was at a mom-and-pop restaurant on the Caribbean coast of Nicaragua circa 1995.

Totally normal place to have fried chicken.

Last time I had home-made fried chicken was in college. My roommate's girlfriend made it for us while we played videogames. Needless to say, she was a keeper and he married her.
