Well I'll be damned. I'm going to go to sleep and wake up tomorrow wondering if I dreamed the whole thing.
Congratulations to President Trump. New jobs coming soon to build that huge wall, to round up illegals and deport and to keep the Muslims out. He can bring all of his companies back to the great country now and hire American workers to produce his men's wear. We will be great again!

President Trump's victory speech was great! It was YUGE. He stepped up biggly. The old white guy prevailed.

I never doubted it for one minute. There was NO WAY the American people were going to put the crooked Clinton's back in the White House.
I'm not crying. I told you that while I didn't really think he would win, I hoped he would just to show you guys that you should be careful what you wish for. Now I am saying that same thing to myself. At least now when he fails to follow through with the wall, the deportations, and the rest of his list, you guys will hopefully see that all of this is bigger than him and will start thinking of REAL solutions to our problems and also take the entire process of elections more seriously and take your heads out of your butts about this two party system (I know some of you aren't part of that problem but many are).

I actually think this election shows that a lot of people have done just that. The GOP establishment hated that Trump was the nomine and hate it more that he won. The dems have to be looking in the mirror trying to figure out what they need to become. The country is tired of the same old crap and if the two parties want to get someone in there they like they are going to have to change their strategy.
Here's a plus.... SNL will be GREAT for the next four years! (I doubt Alec will continue doing it though).
You must see things different than I do. I was just on Facebook and I cannot count how many people have posted that Jesus won last night and all unborn babies will be saved now....that's typical Republican BS. I'll be praying my rosary more often now, we will need it! hehe.

Oh yes, it was that too. I was just talking about what I have noticed on Facebook this morning. I think those Jesus people will be saddened when he really does nothing about abortion. I HATE abortion but I am not so stupid to think making it illegal is going to cure that problem. I believe in getting to the root of the problem to correct it.
Yeah but you need to consider where you live -- because that's why you're seeing those type of Facebook posts. The Upstate is filled with people who are the "religious right" sect of Republican, as you well know.
They will never admit it, but I don't think they actually believe that abortion will ever be illegal. Same goes with the other side believing in unrestricted abortions. Neither one will ever happen.
All he has ever said about abortion is that it should be up to the states.
I know but these people heard something different apparently. I hope one thing he does is require the media to stop spinning crap and only report absolute facts. I am excited for Melania's platform of anti-bullying. We need that one!
And he also won Catholic and Evangelicals across the nation by 80% and I think that has less to do with abortion than the fact that the left has spit on Christianity for far too long. Supreme Court was a big concern also.
I'm no trump supporter but snl's last jab at trump depicting his supporters as nazis and the kkk really went too far and was not funny in the least. I'm enjoying two big "FUK YOU'S" this morning. One to msm and the other to snl.

BTW, I didn't vote for either candidate. I know it's your private decision but care to share who you voted for? IOW, were you binary or did you think outside the box?
I don't think I'm dissing him, I just am anxious to see what he will actually do is all. I think he may have promised more than he can produce but I am open to him proving me wrong.
I struggled VERY hard while in line waiting to vote and said a few Hail Mary's and just punched the screen and I looked and had hit Hillary so I took that as the vote I should keep even though I was hoping it would punch someone i didn't know of. I voted republican on most others because they were unopposed. A couple of democrats got my vote on the local level. I knew Trump would take SC anyway.
There are some conspicuous absences from the board today. I figured we wouldn't see @BillyL. But where's @JuleZ '02 HEEL and @Raising Heel? I'd like to know the thoughts of both on last night's results.
