When a suspect’s lawyer gets raided by the feds that’s usually not a good sign for the suspect. We know who setup the backchannel. Mueller probably now has evidence of what was said during the meetings/negotiations. That’s why he raided Cohen. Manafort will flip and this case is going to be a slam dunk at that point.

Well done circumventing the "if" rule with a "probably". Assuming Mueller has all the evidence you mention, and Manafort does flip (neither of which is guaranteed, which is precisely why I try to avoid diving down these rabbit holes with the rest of you until something definitive happens), then what happens? Trump gets impeached and arrested? Executed by firing squad? Gets a slap on the wrist?

I don’t know what happens if this case comes to the conclusion that it seems to be currently pointing at. Impeachment is a political process and that comes first. I have no doubt there are scumbags in the GOP that would put party before country. It’s sad that the outcome of this investigation is in any way dependent on the midterm elections. This shouldn’t be a partisan issue.
