I like to use ping as well. This is for the Tiger Woods video game, so it might not translate well to real life.

It is about time for me to get some new irons. I’m thinking Mizuno JPX 900 forged but open to suggestions.

Been playing Callaway x-18 pro series for about 12 years with 6.0 rifle shafts. Before that I had Mizuno Pro 2.

I know a guy who plays them and loves them. He is a good golfer, plays in college. You really can't go wrong with Mizuno. I never thought I would play anything other than Mizuno until I got these CF-16s. The JPX 900s look awesome.

You’ve probably figured out by now I’m a club whore (and dont get me started on putters, my wife is seeking treatment options for me there). I have a set of JPX 900 Tour and added 4,5,6 in Forged w Project X LZ 5.5 shafts. They’re really great irons. A couple of months later, I ended up liking the traditional look of new MP18s better and got a set of those w KBS Tour 90 shafts. I’m probably taking the JPX set to Wilmington next week and will leave them there.

Mygolfspy.com had pics of the new JPX 919 just last week or so. So, expect the 900s to get cheaper when the new model is released.

Don't buy anything until you try the callaway rogue series. They are ridiculously long. I'm also a fan of the KBS tour shafts. I play the tour 120's

I like those Mizuno's. A buddy of mine has them (or something just like them) and they feel pure when you hit them.

Also look at the Taylor Made M2 irons. They aren't ridiculously expensive anymore since they released the M3 and M4, but they are top quality.

So PXG is running an online special on Generation 1 irons. $175-$225/club instead of original $400/club. I bought a set of black irons comprised of 0311T 7-PW and 0311 4-6 a couple of weeks ago. Delivery is scheduled for tomorrow but it's supposed to rain all week!

If anyone is interested in a set of barely used Mizuno JPX900 Tour irons 4-PW, let me know. also have a set of somewhat refurbished Miura MB01/CB57 combo irons!

You like those PXG's that well? I can't force myself to pay that much for irons. I'll have to stay with the Callaways.
