Good, bad, ugly vs VT?

I'd say:
Good - Defensive rotation. The D wasn't very good first half, but being able to rotate lots of players will pay dividends in future games and seasons.

Bad - Sam still doesn't understand the concept of negative yardage or throwing it away.

Ugly - pass protection. I don't know if it was unseasoned rbs or missing starting center or OL getting dinged and rotating players. But we made VT D look stellar.

(Bonus, Great - Conley is badazz, saved that gm from being a blow out.)

VaTech lost probably their best three OL from last year - one to the NFL, and two transfers. They're also undersized (on both lines). But looked a lot better than us.

It is extremely frustrating.

I think the DL will make progress as most of our big bodies are Fr or Soph. Might see a little more 4-man fronts if the starters can't hang.

We made need to make a Dwayne Ledford type of hire to fix the OL though.

Bad: The Heels only scored 10 points. That hasn't happened since the Miami game in Fedora's last season when we were 2-10 or whatever!

UNC is in deep doo-doo if it can't score a lot of points.

they aren’t moving the qb vs that front and the receivers are in the same spot…that’s coaching, imo.

Not having Etienne and Lawrence, and an Oline hurts. UGA looks pretty damn good, too.

Good- Ritzie was the highest graded player on D in his first ever live action! Hoping we can get Duck, Silver, Echols, RaRa, KBJ and Pinder involved these next few weeks.
