All of this year, and to a degree for the last couple seasons, I've wondered how good we could be. Probably got that answer today. When you consider the quality of opponent and circumstances coming into the game, the end result is as well as they could have played.

I'd like to see this kind of performance on the road. Not necessarily a 30pt win, but a complete game where they're in control for the full game. It's been about a month since we played really well on the road and in all honesty, we've been pretty poor all season away from home. We'll certainly have opportunities to prove they can do it away from home.

Hopefully a start to something today. Not surprised they played well... We typically respond after losses and losses to Duke specifically. But hopefully we realize we're capable of playing really well regardless of the quality of opponent.

Played pretty flawless today. Roy did the right thing starting Hicks. Now let's do this on the road.

I wonder how much Roy finally giving in and starting Hicks had to do with it.

The team knows how much better the starting 5 is when Hicks starts- we have several games from Jan and now today as proof. It's got to be disheartening to the team when they all know who should be getting the start and the most burn, yet Roy gives the nod to someone else.

It definitely has an effect. At this level most of the guys believe they are good enough to start anyway. You don't get here without that kind of attitude. And when they can see with their own eyes the difference, well yeah, they aren't going to like it no matter how little they show it.

Right. It was like that with the 93-94 team where Dean had Salvadori and Reese starting over Sheed and Stack.

The players need to trust that the coach is doing everything possible to put them in the best position to win, and when they can easily tell that the wrong guy is starting or getting minutes, that causes yuuge problems.

Only flaw I saw was Paige still not hitting like he should. Amazing what happens when some outside shots fall. Pinson looked better today as well. As did Britt. Roy stepping up and putting Meeks where he belongs was key as well. Sucks we still havnt hit a 100 this season.
