The 3-9 season was disappointing, and that means that the HC knew changes were in order. It doesn't mean he made as many changes as needed, or that he fired anybody who truly deserved it more than other GT assistants. But Collins has not settled for the assistants who delivered a disappointing season.

In case anybody needs to be reminded, GT embarrassed Mack Brown's team.

It doesn't matter. Too late at this point. All the "Come to the 404", ATL, crap isn't working. Collins will be history this time next year. Not sure you can win big at GT this day and time. Imagine some of his top players will be jumping into the portal. Kind of wonder if the folks at GT might be having a little buyers remorse for running Paul Johnson out of town
