ESPN article: "Sources have indicated for days that both Harbaugh and Michigan have been preparing a legal rebuttal, the process of which likely would include a lawsuit against the Big Ten that asks for a preliminary injunction seeking to prevent the suspension."

What does it mean if a school like Michigan, which is half of the biggest 2 of the BT, sues the conference? Can the league ever be the same again? Won't that cause massive resentment by almost all other league members, as well as league bureaucracy, against Michigan? If such a suit is not ended rather quickly, could Michigan even hope to remain a BT member with any clout and any respectable standing in the BT? Wouldn't other BT members smell blood in the water begin a series of shots at Michigan to try to forever weaken it within the league hierarchy?

Would the ACC see such a scenario and again be stupid and do nothing until it is too late to achieve anything that could really matter to the ACC?
