When I was in my teens I thought my Dad was the dumbest man alive and was ashamed to be seen with him , when I was in my early 20's I had gotten to the point where I could at least tolerate him , when I got to my mid 20's I came to the conclusion that he was a pretty smart guy. When I got to my 30's I rarely made a decision without his input. He died when I was 35 and for the last 22 years when ever an important decision comes up , I think I sure was wish Dad was around so I could ask his opinion.

I know some of you might of had poor relationships with your dad and some of your dad's may have left the family but just think of what demons your dad may have been dealing with , many of the kids of my generation might have dads that came home with scars from WWII and Korea that weren't physical in nature. Any way HFD to all the other Dad's out there
