Missing a hold when a bunch of players are tight can happen easily. But this hold was just 2 guys, alone together, but near enough to the receiver so that most official eyes should have been pointed that way.

Same crap happened last night at my sons HS game. Refs couldn't stop blowing the whistle in the first quarter. Coach finally went off when they let one slide on the visiting team they had just called on us. Called it even from that point on. Maybe Fed needs to get in their ear.
