Heres More NCAA BS . .

My Lord, can these d-bags just get the fvck over themselves . . a 16 year old goes on a dating site and lies about his age, the NCAA uses this to disqualify him from playing sports.

From George Mason University located here in NoVa . .

Nothing surprises me with the NCAA anymore. Just a bunch of idiots. If our case leads to the destruction of the NCAA it will have been worth it.

If that is what actually happened, and not just misinterpreted by the source, then that's unbelievably ridiculous. I'm not really sure why that would have DQ'd him though, because even 20 year olds should be able to enroll as freshmen, right? Unless they're just saying that the discrepancy in his papers from his "real age" is what is causing the problem.

By that logic - every single NCAA basketball player is ineligible, because they've all gone to porn sites under the age of 18 that said they consent to being 18 years old to view the material.

People keep saying this, and I get the intent behind it, but it wouldn't be a good thing for any fan of college sports if the NCAA went away. It would be chaos and only the richest schools would win.

So, nothing would change other than the fact the NCAA wouldn't exist. At least not as it is today.

Everything would change. The NCAA is the necessary charade / buffer that keeps schools from outright buying players in broad daylight.
You've said on here multiple times recently that all recruiting is dirty, so what exactly would be different? Would the world really fall apart if schools admitted it? I'm not saying nothing should be in place. Let the P5 conferences get together and govern themselves. The NCAA can keep the act up with the other divisions and conferences. It is an outdated organization that is not needed in its current form. Change it or move on from it.
