Hey Cool

I have a nerdy friend who's really friggin cute (borerline sexy) who loves the Elder Scrolls games. I've never played them. The new Battlefield I is friggin sick. Plus I think it's cool they went with World War I, since in America, that war doesn't even exist.... no movies about it and you never learn about it in school.

FIFA games are always the shit. I waste hours and hours doing manager modes on there. I agree about Madden. They've lost their fun. I haven't bought a Madden game since like 2009. I'm still in mourning that they quit making NCAA Football.

Ya, I have Battlefield 1, I need to start playing that one again. Maybe tonight haha.

My kids are starting to get old enough to get into video games, so hopefully I can play some by "teaching" them. They've got the tablet games down, so I'm going to move them up to some Mario on the original NES if I can ever find the time.
Yep, we're there. Two 5 year olds and a 9 year old ... they are wearing out the original NES Mario Bros 1/2/3, Duck Hunt (yes, I hung onto a TV that will accept the gun signal), Contra, Mike Tyson's Punch Out and Tecmo Bowl. Sooooooo much fun!

Speaking of Kart ... I was in college the year it came out on the N64 (1996). I organized a 32 man round robin tournament that lasted 12 days straight. Of course there was gambling ... time trial over/unders, win/place/show, etc etc ... hundreds of dollars changed hands.

Excellent.... you need to do it again as an adult but play it Mario Kart DWI "Beerio Kart" style.

Yes, I've mentioned it twice now because, yes, I want someone to ask what it is.

I never thought about that. How do those things work anyway, and do they not work with today's flatscreens?
Yeah the newer screens will not work - I'm not tech savvy enough to explain why. We just happened to keep an old (2002 or so) original style "flat screen" (but still 20" deep and over 100 lbs) and it will work with the Duck Hunt pistol.
