Just wanted to give these guys kudos of sorts. Even though the running game wasn't really there this week. They both played an important part on that final drive. Pretty sure that they both at times acted as a personal protector for Mitch during this final drive having to pick up blitzes coming from all sides. Sometimes the block wasn't pretty but it was effective none the less. I am pretty sure on the first sliding 4th down conversion that Switz made between two defenders only happened because Hood stuck a free blitzer up the left side center guard area. Just goes to show its a team game and even though your number isn't being called specifically it doesn't mean you cant rise to the occasion in other ways. Great job fellas!
