It's a simple recipe. They struggle to score; JUMP them early and get a 2 score lead. Make them have to work outside of their norm offensively in an attempt to catch up, and then make a big play defensively to break it open. We have to stiffen vs the run so that they cannot get into any rhythm; I think we'll see some cheating in the box w/ Miles if they have any semblance of early success. Offensively, I expect us to work the edges outside to loosen them up inside, and then start pounding Hood.

Naz probably out, Crawford done for the year, and w/ MJ and Hughes suspended, all of a sudden we're a bit depleted. Hope we are ready and focused; this is not gonna be a pushover.

Seems like "jumping on them early" and forcing them to play from behind are always listed as keys to the next game, as they well they should be. It is always a good thing to get a lead and get the opponent out of their comfort zone.

With our depleted defense, our offense is going to have to play well in order for us to win. Fortunately, we have a prolific offense and we should be able to score against Wake.

Would love to see Dalton get a couple of sacks in his debut before his parents and friends from Winston Salem. Our lack of pressure on opposing QB's has been one of our most glaring weaknesses to date.

Their QB, Wofford, can hurt you if he finds his main three go to guys....Brent, Lewis, and Serigne.

The rushing game is so-so....but if Wofford sucks the safeties in while going wide, he can find the open man on the run.

You have to get to Wofford....BC held Wofford to 109 yards passing with 1 INT and zero TD;s...big rush.

Let's not build up Wake's offense to be Cal or Oregon. They lost to Indiana. If we play our game, we should win. Maybe not a blow out, but certainly should win.

Yeah, Archer, establishing a lead is always key, but particularly vs. teams like Wake, uva, and GT. The former b/c they need to be emotionally demoralized and pressure put on bad offenses; GT precisely b/ c they are good offensively and you cannot get behind them often and win (what we did is pretty rare vs. them).

Is he fully healthy? There has been some talk he got an injury at practice.

Well crap. Give it to #8 then

There's no reason to be cute against Wake. Line up and blow them off the ball. Use the pace of the offense to wear them down and the mismatches will be even easier to exploit in the second half. I think we should win this one easy
