Got about an inch here in Elkin, calling for about 4 total. Are they calling for any in VA?
Ever since the last round of snow and ice, the lines at the car wash have been ridiculous. (I prefer to wash at home but wanted to get the thorough underbody rinse.) I finally got both vehicles washed on Monday.
Tuesday they salted the roads again.

Salted roads are an all winter long thing here. But we only have 2 paved roads near us so there's that. That explains why all the cars in Nebraska look like this.Salted roads are an all winter long thing here. But we only have 2 paved roads near us so there's that. Most are gravel.
Very accurate representation. That explains why all the cars in Nebraska look like this.

It is a sportsman's paradise, but that's about as far as it goes. Well we do have the CWS.#VisitNebraska
It's 10 here right now, but 60 Friday so I will also be playing golf.A lot. I'll post some pictures in a minute. We haven't been to school since Thursday. Had about 3.5 inches last friday and another 3 yesterday. It is snowing again. Supposed to be 55 Saturday so planning on golfing though.
That's because you live in that Godless country known as Gwinnett County. 3-4 inches fell over here in Cobb County.Barely enough to cover the ground here.
We are going to need to see a picture of you dunking on that goal to prove this is you.
DamnitPiedmont, NC area now calling for possibly 6+"... dammit.
Same here.... working remote, which means mostly goofing off on OOTB.Got a couple of inches here. Office is closed, so I'm "working" from home. AKA I'm not doing anything.

Glad to hear the snow hasn't changed your normal routine.which means mostly goofing off on OOTB.
That's crazy how much the weather can change in just a few miles. @Hark_The_Sound_2010 let us know if you need a refresher course in what a county is.That's because you live in that Godless country known as Gwinnett County. 3-4 inches fell over here in Cobb County.

It really is crazy. So y'all have less than an inch of snowfall there, you'd say? I'm too lazy to take a pic and upload it to photobucket like cory did, but we have a good dusting here, probably 2-4 inches. It covered the roads, at least the ones I can see in my neighborhood. I'm also "working from home" today. That's crazy how much the weather can change in just a few miles. @Hark_The_Sound_2010 let us know if you need a refresher course in what a county is.
Damnit, AGE? You have an 11 year old? My youngest will be 25 in March. You know, when we first got it (Christmas of 2016) my boy was 11 so I had it set to 9 feet. I used to could grab a 10 foot rim with two hands and even dunk a basketball if someone tossed it up just right. So I figured I could go off on the 9 foot rim with ease like I used to. Nope! After trying a few times and having my boy crack up, as well as me cracking up at myself, figured any further attempts could only lead to bad things happening, haha. Age, man. It's a bitch.
Yeah, I'd say less than an inch of snow. Not even enough to make a good snowball to hit my kids in the face with.It really is crazy. So y'all have less than an inch of snowfall there, you'd say? I swear I'm going to make it to the CWS soon. Maybe this year, but I'd have to start planning now. I'll buy you a drink if you come to Omaha. It is a sportsman's paradise, but that's about as far as it goes. Well we do have the CWS.
Will hold you to it. I have a connection on tickets if you need them! If you have seen the commercial by State Farm with the old guy with the fishing pole and the dollar? The State Farm agent in the commercial is a friend of mine and gets me tickets!I swear I'm going to make it to the CWS soon. Maybe this year, but I'd have to start planning now. Once someone invents an app that will take the picture for me and automatically upload and post it then I'll start sharing some pics. I'm too lazy to have to do all of that crap.Photobucket started to annoy me so I found an easier way, a site called imgflip. You just upload from your computer, it makes it, you download it and then paste it into the image icon on the forum. So much easier as photobucket has become so unstable for me.
Well now that I have this information I'm going to have to go too. Will hold you to it. I have a connection on tickets if you need them! I have done the leaf blower thing out here. If it's not really wet snow it works great.I'm in Charlotte, where the original forecast of less than 1 inch has quickly become "whoops we really missed on that one." There's about 3-4 inches of snow on my patio table and it's still coming down.
Anybody ever used a leaf blower on snow? cc: @UNC71-00 I'm thinking about giving it a shot to see what happens.
I'm working from home. It's awesome. I sleep in, hang out in my "quitters", and take a shower whenever I damn well feel like it. Cooked an entire package of bacon this morning for the rest of the week, made an omelette, and then threw some chili in the crockpot. Nom nom nom.
