An inch at the most here in NoVA, PR, county schools are opening 2 hours late. Its rare we get any more than that on these fast moving clippers that come through this area.

Looks as if the Raleigh area may get 4-6 inches from the weather map I looked at earlier.

Barely enough to cover the ground here. They canceled school though. Ever since Georgia botched the handling of that ice storm a few years back, they've started canceling school if there is anything more than a light rain.

Ever since the last round of snow and ice, the lines at the car wash have been ridiculous. (I prefer to wash at home but wanted to get the thorough underbody rinse.) I finally got both vehicles washed on Monday.

Tuesday they salted the roads again.

Put an oscillating lawn sprinkler under the car for 20 minutes, back, middle & front . . you'll be good, trust me. It's all that is needed to completely dilute any harmful chemicals/salt that has accumulated . . it doesn't have to be at full blast, just enough pressure to wet it all underneath.

Salted roads are an all winter long thing here. But we only have 2 paved roads near us so there's that. Most are gravel.

A lot. I'll post some pictures in a minute. We haven't been to school since Thursday. Had about 3.5 inches last friday and another 3 yesterday. It is snowing again. Supposed to be 55 Saturday so planning on golfing though.

It's 10 here right now, but 60 Friday so I will also be playing golf.

We are going to need to see a picture of you dunking on that goal to prove this is you.

You know, when we first got it (Christmas of 2016) my boy was 11 so I had it set to 9 feet. I used to could grab a 10 foot rim with two hands and even dunk a basketball if someone tossed it up just right. So I figured I could go off on the 9 foot rim with ease like I used to. Nope! After trying a few times and having my boy crack up, as well as me cracking up at myself, figured any further attempts could only lead to bad things happening, haha. Age, man. It's a bitch.

That's crazy how much the weather can change in just a few miles. @Hark_The_Sound_2010 let us know if you need a refresher course in what a county is.
It really is crazy. So y'all have less than an inch of snowfall there, you'd say? I'm too lazy to take a pic and upload it to photobucket like cory did, but we have a good dusting here, probably 2-4 inches. It covered the roads, at least the ones I can see in my neighborhood. I'm also "working from home" today.

Damnit, AGE? You have an 11 year old? My youngest will be 25 in March.

Yeah, I'd say less than an inch of snow. Not even enough to make a good snowball to hit my kids in the face with.

Photobucket started to annoy me so I found an easier way, a site called imgflip. You just upload from your computer, it makes it, you download it and then paste it into the image icon on the forum. So much easier as photobucket has become so unstable for me.

I swear I'm going to make it to the CWS soon. Maybe this year, but I'd have to start planning now. I'll buy you a drink if you come to Omaha.
Will hold you to it. I have a connection on tickets if you need them! If you have seen the commercial by State Farm with the old guy with the fishing pole and the dollar? The State Farm agent in the commercial is a friend of mine and gets me tickets!

Once someone invents an app that will take the picture for me and automatically upload and post it then I'll start sharing some pics. I'm too lazy to have to do all of that crap.

I'm in Charlotte, where the original forecast of less than 1 inch has quickly become "whoops we really missed on that one." There's about 3-4 inches of snow on my patio table and it's still coming down.

Anybody ever used a leaf blower on snow? cc: @UNC71-00 I'm thinking about giving it a shot to see what happens.

I'm working from home. It's awesome. I sleep in, hang out in my "quitters", and take a shower whenever I damn well feel like it. Cooked an entire package of bacon this morning for the rest of the week, made an omelette, and then threw some chili in the crockpot. Nom nom nom.

Well now that I have this information I'm going to have to go too.

I have done the leaf blower thing out here. If it's not really wet snow it works great.
