and was wondering what the general feeling is among those closer to the program. I am talking about the general direction of the program. From my perspective, Roy seems to have just given up on bringing in top guys. Even looking at the offer sheet compared to duke, arizona and kentucky, it seems like Roy has adopted Tubby Smith's philosophy of trying to get lower ranked guys that will stay for 4 years. Is this because of possible NCAA trouble? Is Roy coasting? Aside from recruiting, Carolina just seems less intense and less athletic than other top teams to me. Am I off base? Looking for opinions.
