No, he is recruiting them both. Boogie is a PG & Ian is a 2G/F.Hope to land him , seen where hub was visiting boogie fwiw .. seems to point jackson to UK hope I eat crow on that
A puncher's chance, I would think. His OV gave He & his family lots to think over. Just have to wait until tomorrow and see. Although he is listing 5 schools, most think it's between Us & UK. I don't have a clue as to where he will choose to play.75,
Does UNC have a chance? I heard Ian was a Kentucky lean.
Thanks. The OP can edit the thread title, BTW.Keep your fingers crossed!
Also, forgive my spelling error in the title.
Thanks, but I am technologically challenged and don't know how.Thanks. The OP can edit the thread title, BTW.
Have said the same thing for weeks, based upon what is being thrown out there. But as stated if wrong will gladly eat crow. Will not be the last time which I have been wrong, but have been correct on a few as well.I think he commits to .... UNC
I want Fland, but if Jackson comes I will welcome him.Looking like he's not commeth
Dunn, Trimble... heck RJ Davis and Caleb Love both technically have Covid years that would allow them to play during the '24-'25 seasons if they wanted to. Cadeau is the only guy out of all our current players and commitments who looks like a surefire 1st round draft pick. Hubert is doing an impressive job landing recruits when we can't promise them that players are leaving.Could be that he might want to play with Wilcher, Cadeau & Brown. The cards do not appear to favor us, but you never know with recruitments.
Regardless, we will know around 3:30 tomorrow.
Agree about Drake Powell. I love the WORK he is obviously putting in to add additional skill to what he already had, which is his high motor and athleticism. And again I wonder how Trentyn Flowers factors into all this. He's like 6'8" but everyone says he's a comboguard. Are we genuinely in that recruitment or are we window dressing?
Also, Drake Powell is on an upward trajectory. His ball handling and passing are exemplary. He can defend basically every position. He'll be a factor in the perimeter rotation. Perhaps even an off guard that does a lot of the point guard things that Pinson used to do.
Jackson decision is made, regardless of who he picks.Though I guess it doesn't hurt that Wilcher and High were playing in that event today too.
Yeah Rob Cassidy has changed his pick 2-3 times today.Every one just temp guessing. He says no one but his parents know fwiw
I'm switching to he commeth.Looking like he's not commeth
I'm seeing that some of these experts are basing their new guesses on all the negativity coming from the UK fanbase toward Calipari. Wouldn't that be wild? A top recruit is considered a lock for a school for months, but in the end the behavior of internet fans changes his mind?Going by his interviews it really seems like it’s Kentucky. I think it’s 99% them
I just got a text saying we might get a surprise. Possible? Guess we'll know soon enuff...A puncher's chance, I would think. His OV gave He & his family lots to think over. He just put in a very poor showing against this years #2 pick, Justin Edwards(already going to UK and possibly position competition). That may actually help Huberts cause. Ian Jackson is not a one and done player. He looked like the number 3 player on his own team. Maybe timing has helped Carolina.
uk has been the default pick for awhile now --- and I'll still expect it --- optimistic texts notwithstanding, but hey. sometimes those pan outWell he said the school he picked will allow him to play his game and be one and done.. I hope I am wrong, but that seems UK to me
