Do we collectively have the worst hair in college basketball?

It's really only 4 guys for us but Mando's might count twice. When RJ is running around out there, I keep wondering if a small animal is going to fall out of his. Seth looks poised to make a statement and get some recognition for his topper and Caleb's is harkening back to the days of 90s, west coast, gangster rap.

Leaky cut his but now looks like his head is the size of a pea.

I LOLed when the commentators asked was he growing golden horns like the mascot. Looks like a scouring pad to me. There have been some unique hair do's the past few year. My favorite was Walton' fro
Hate he cut it. Dooks team from a few years ago looked like Muppet auditions

JB with the Heat Miser is my only addition to the perfection from Heelman!

Do you'll remember JR Reid, things have changed in the fashion world as we use to know it.

Ah, the age old complaints about a younger generation's styles. Good thing for them they are almost always more interested in thier own and thier peers attraction to thier style, rather then middle aged men. 😆

Regardless of the times, certain haircuts are flattering on some people and not on others. The hope is that one is able to self-evaluate.

No one - literally no one - can think that mess on Mando's head makes him look his best him.

And relax. It was just a thread to have some fun with so we didn't have to read any more of Grover's dumb shit.

Not upset at all, just get a kick, like you do from the ageless whining about those darn kids new styles. Every generation does it, and every next generation will find their own flair.

I do disagree that no one likes Mando's hair style. Plenty of teenage and twenty somethings like those type of hairstyles. Many of them love it, and as I mentioned, I think they hold more weight, especially the females, then the middle aged fellas who don't like it do to all of them.

I will simply not believe anyone thinks Mando’s hair is cool until I hear it with my own ears. And even then, Ill consider their comments suspect. Sorry, but your second hand news doesn’t do it for me.

You know what’s funny, most of those people who once thought rattails were cool, don’t wear them anymore. You know why? Because they realized how stupid looking it was. Moral of the story, we become wise with age.

Things change with age for sure. Mando will probably be a middle age guy shaking his head at the 20 somethings 30 years from now too, saying nobody could like that, while the youngsters go crazy for it. 😆

The kids will still be into whatever style is popular for thier age group. And the old rat tail type guys will still forget why they wore it way back when.

I agree with most of that. But another thought is that young people want to stand out. The need for attention is strong at that age with many kids. And that’s why they wear odd clothing, piercings, hairstyles, etc. so it always amazes me to see mature/smart kids do that. And I consider Mando mature and smart. Let your game be the attention grabber. Plus, he’s 6’10”, he already stands out. No need to dumb it down. Just my opinion.

I get that, it isn't my style, but he is in that generation, I'm not, and that is popular for that generation, their style.

You may think that it is a second hand take on my part, but my kids and friends kids are college aged, I teach teenagers, plenty of them really really like that style. That is why those type "doos" are so popular all around, heck just look around all the college teams, very common similar styles. It isn't meant for the dads, uncles, and gramps. It is popular with their peers. They like the look, more power to them. Rock it while you can, the tats are permanent the popular hair styles are not.

The tattoos are much more expensive, and they don't grow out. Those are lifelong investments. I always wonder about how that will affect that generation in 30 or 40 years.

That hairstyle he has is expensive and very time consuming too, not only just to grow out, but to get done like that. It's an undertaking, dyed, and braided, but not permanent like a tat which he and many others have.

I always liked mine short, but plenty 80's/90's hair rockers like Poison and Motley Crue, the Aqua Net type girl hair styles they all had followers, or the high top/gumby fades or waves they all took time and money. They were popular though throughout the country. 30 or 40 years later father time has no longer made that even an option for those who liked the look though. 😆 I see these youngsters and their styles as very similar in that way.

I've styled my hair probably dozens of different ways throughout the years. I guess because I have hair LOL.

I just can't decide what to call Bacot's cut. At first I thought he was going for the Ramses look but then the more I think about it he could be going for the Princess Leia look. As long as he keeps rebounding like he did in the last game I'm good with whatever he wants growing on his head and whatever he calls it. (Quick question: Does he wash that contraption ever or could it be a move to help cut down shower time? Do I need premium to get an answer to that one?)

Nope, use an electric shaver and some clippers! Very low maintenance but you have to have a regularly shaped head to pull it off!

As long as we don't have to deal with Mullets or Man Buns, I'll take almost anything sitting on top of their heads!
