Go back where? He wouldn't be able to go back to Virginia Tech. And I'm not talking about football. He made a really dumb plan of attack and/or someone gave that dude colossally stupid career advice.Jerod Evans got cut. Hope he can go back, get a degree, work on contacts and stuff.
Why do you think Evans went pro, even though scouts basically evaluated him as "Not even close to being ready at all. No idea why he didn't return for his senior year" ?vt wouldn't let him back in as a non-scholarship undergrad student?
The word is he intentionally didn't bother with classes, so he had to go pro because he wouldn't be academically eligible for his senior season. So no, he wouldn't be academically eligible to return to VT, unless they have like an academic probation setup or something.vt wouldn't let him back in as a non-scholarship undergrad student?
No problem. If it's true, and it has to be because it's the only explanation, what a stupid move by him and his camp.^ got it, thx man

Seriously, go read his NFL.com draft scouting report. It's embarrassing and makes you feel bad for him.

He was a Juco and before Fuente went to VT, Evans likely was headed to Memphis. Why do you think Evans went pro, even though scouts basically evaluated him as "Not even close to being ready at all. No idea why he didn't return for his senior year" ?
It's not that hard to figure out.
Evans played at Air Force and was offered by Navy. His academics couldn't have been so bad.He was a Juco and before Fuente went to VT, Evans likely was headed to Memphis.
I expect that he is far from being a sound scholar.
Correct, he's not a dummy, academically-speaking.Evans played at Air Force and was offered by Navy. His academics couldn't have been so bad.
I think he had unrealistic expectations.

He is a dummy for just not even trying at VT.
He is our version of Elijah Hood. Smart kids can make bad decisions or get bad advice, that make them look dumb. Sorry for the kid.
