Yeah, evidently there is not a LiAngelo 1 lowtop shoe yet. This might be the first time ever Lavar was "unavailable for comment". Hopefully this was a big misunderstanding and these kids were not dumb enough to steal something while on the trip.

I know we're trying to expand the game of basketball to all parts of the world, especially China, but why are we sending college teams over there? Let NBA teams play exhibition games over there and be done with it. Actually, I do blame the coaches. They should have had a tighter leash on the team because they were visitors in a foreign country and, as we all know, kids can do dumb things without realizing the consequences. Otto Warmbier should have been the case study on everyone's minds.

Plus - most kids shoplift before the age of 18 yo. I would bet at least one (if not all) of the players involved have done it before and either gotten away clean or were caught and skated due to their athletic status.

I don't know the race of the players involved - I just figured they were white since LaVar said that the reason UCLA lost last year was because they were a team full of white boys.
