Looking back over Hubert's 4 seasons, his best showings were when we had a true star or several. He's always had some solid guys whom some may call stars, but it was when he added the likes of Brady Manek and Harrison Ingram to that solid core that our teams really stepped up.

With Armando, Harrison and Cormac gone, with RJ having a subpar season until late, and with less improvement than expected for some potential stars, last season was relatively starless. And it did not live up to Carolina standards.

Do we have any stars on the current roster? There are a few potential stars, I think - and that makes me hopeful - but I don't see any proven stars.

If Veesaar turns out to be Armando and Wilson is the new Manek or Ingram - not on style of play but on how good they were for the team - will that be enough?

Do we need to add another true star to the roster? Will just one be enough?

The roster we have is taller and better balanced than last season. It's should be easier to coach. But is that good enough, without another star?

Who do you think will star for us this season? And do you think we need another star (or 2) to make the Carolina grade?

Next year’s team does not have any “stars” on it. Wilson has the most potential, but will probably need time. UNC currently has a bunch of third/fourth options. You can win with that…but you need great coaching…

The playing time and shots are there so somebody will be a star, the way this team is built it’s a different star each game

I think many are sleeping on Veesar. All-american? Maybe, maybe not but he's going to be very good and his presence will help Wilson's development happen much quicker if opposing fours have to worry about helping on Henri.
