Steat, yeah man, I get ya on the injury question and as I have said, I would love for us to get a quality big man in addition to Tony. But I don't think we need just another warm body that just happens to stand over 6'8". No offense to Knox, he did what he could but I would be just as happy with Luke IMO as I would with another version of Knox. If we bring in a gradutate sr I would want it to be a kid that can produce solid day 1, like a Robert carter, like Uchafor for Villinova who we wanted really bad last year about this time.
In the spring there are always 5th year guys that pop up and decomits due to coaching changes, pretty much how we got kenny Williams isn't it. lets see what comes around but my point is even if we don't and hopefully injury does not strike, we can still be VERY effective with our version of small ball with 2 wings on the floor together.
And again I point out, we have played the vast majority of this season with 3 bigs and Joel James getting nothing but token minutes. With Meeks, Hicks, and Tony we will have 3 next season and Luke will get more than token minutes.

Didn't overhype a damned thing... just made a comment about some pending good news. Got the info confirmed then put it on the board. Nor BTW did I overhype the Boo Williams thing --- just reported what was said with full disclaimers built in. And yet' just as I predicted at the time someone was sure to throw it at me if DSJr didn't end up here.
Of course when I did post this latest info then you act like it's not news, even though the facts are quite the opposite. So since apparently none of my intel is gonna mean anything to ya anyway, I would just follow Mike's advice and ignore it.

Easy way to hammer this out is to have people go on the record. If you're not willing to go on the record on predictions or "inside info" (which I'm certainly not, considering I don't have one iota of inside information) then your predictions or "inside info" are worth nothing. If you're willing to go on the record, we can measure how often your predictions and/or sources are correct. Simple as that.
Not an insider in the normal sense... just have been fortunate enough over the past 4 years or so to be privy to some inside info from a source who is close to some of the players --- normally all I would get would come indirectly from coaching circles and/or AAU scuttlebutt, so it's been pretty cool to have that more direct connection --- happy to share the stuff (fit to tell) with fellow Heels fans here.

We appreciate what you hear from the AAu circuits. You obviously do know people in them.
But, at the end of the day it is just what a person on the AAU circuit said. It doesn't mean a ton.
For example, I called Wiggins to UNC based on what I heard from people in WV when his recruitment was ongoing. I was wrong. And, I quickly realized to not stake much faith in stuff beyond people who would actually know.
I love to hear what you hear, but I do not take much stock in it unless it has a viable angle to be factual.

Accusing Gary of saying DSJR will be a heel on a Duke board, but you want someone else to find it? You made the claim, you go find it and provide the evidence.
Because it is news. None of what anybody thinks (including reporters) is common sense matters. What matters is a player's intent. His intent until very recently has been to leave. That is a fact, not opinion.

I try to limit it to pukies, but some so-called Tar Heel fans should really try decaf!
