Name That Song

You'll never say hello to you
Until you get it on the red line overload
You'll never know what you can do
Until you get it up as high as you can go

Out along the edges
Always where I burn to be
The further on the edge
The hotter the intensity

Love doesn't discriminate
Between the sinners
And the saints
It takes and it takes and it takes
And we keep loving anyway
We laugh and we cry
And we break
And we make our mistakes
And if there's a reason I'm by her side
When so many have tried
Then I'm willing to wait for it
I'm willing to wait for it

Love doesn't discriminate
Between the sinners
And the saints
It takes and it takes and it takes
And we keep loving anyway
We laugh and we cry
And we break
And we make our mistakes
And if there's a reason I'm by her side
When so many have tried
Then I'm willing to wait for it
I'm willing to wait for it
Ain't nobody here going to know that junk. You're the only person who would post some lyrics from a musical.

Have y'all really not figured out yet that it's more fun if it's easy and quick and keeps it moving?
Hey there's been plenty that I have had less than zero clue on here. My last several were pretty easy. But fine, I'll do something different, this was for the lulz

For the record, the Hamilton song seemed fair game since Danger Zone was written for a movie, but nevertheless, here's one that you should have an easier time getting.

Freight train, each car looks the same, all the same.
And no one knows the gypsy's name,
And no one hears his lonely sighs,
There are no blankets where he lies.
Lord, in his deepest dreams the gypsy flies

Went right to the other extreme didn't ya?

Yes.

Yeah, but you actually have to know the song to know it's there. Has anyone here seen Hamilton besides you? I did discover that Usher covered the song. That's cool.
Yeah they did the Hamilton Mixtape where a lot of famous musicians covered songs or did unrealeased drafts. John Legend and Kelly Clarkson also have great ones there. I thought Hamilton had the best chance of any musical since it’s the highest selling cast album ever

One more easy selection

Who will provide the grand design?
What is yours and what is mine?
'Cause there is no more new frontier
We have got to make it here

We satisfy our endless needs and
justify our bloody deeds,
in the name of destiny and the name
of God

And you can see them there,
On Sunday morning
They stand up and sing about
what it's like up there
They call it paradise
I don't know why
You call someplace paradise,
kiss it goodbye

hmmm it's been 20 minutes since I poasted the lyrics. I hope I don't have to resort to giving hints. It's the last thing I want to do

Maybe no one else is looking at this thread right now. But if no one answers in another 20 minutes, I'll poast another song. Don't want to kill it.

Next hint - It's from the Hotel California Album

Ok time's up...The Last Resort - The Eagles

Try this one....

Run and tell all of the angels
This could take all night
Think I need a devil to help me get things right

Hook me up a new revolution
'Cause this one is a lie
We sat around laughing and watched the last one die

Now I'm looking to the sky to save me
Looking for a sign of life
Looking for something to help me burn out bright
I'm looking for a complication
Looking 'cause I'm tired of lying
Make my way back home when I learn to fly high.

I play along with the charade
That doesn't seem to be a reason to change
You know I feel so dirty when they start talking cute
I wanna tell her I lover her but the point is probably moot

Cause she's watching him with those eyes!
And she's lovin him with that body I just know it!
And he's holding her in his arms late, late at night

ETA this was playing on the jukebox here at my local watering hole. Why not?

Jesse’s Girl by Rick Springfield

Girl, tonight we're gonna make love. You know how I know? Because it's Wednesday. And Wednesday night is the night that we usually make love. Monday night is my night to cook. Tuesday night we go and visit your mother, but Wednesday night we make sweet, weekly love. It's when everything is just right. There's nothing good on TV. You haven't had your after-work social sports team practice so you're not too tired. Oh boy...it's all on. You lean in and say something sexy like, "I might go to bed I've got work in the morning." I know what you're trying to say girl.

I love these guys....
