I don't mind going for it on 4th. Not saying I agree with that play specifically, but you're not going to beat Alabama kicking field goals. Sometimes, it takes four downs to move the chains against those guys.
It wasn't even FG range. It was the 39 or 41 yard line. You punt it there 100 times out of 100 in the first quarter. Especially considering your defense stuffed their offense on the first drive and their offense isn't their strength.

The line between extremely physical and "dirty" is razor thin. To me, Foster's hit on DW was dirty. The pop on Williams was not.
