When I was a kid, my Dad and I went to the UNC/NC State game EVERY year. He had a friend who was in the Wolpack Club and could never go, and we got the football and basketball tickets. In that stretch of years (1977-1982), the only time UNC lost to State was in Kenan... quite embarrassingly. I never had a bad time at Carter-Finley. We always won and my Dad and I would hit the State Fair usually, too! I loved rubbing it in to State fans. Then at school the next week, it was even more fun!

But to WHOM are they limiting play counts? 'Cuse, WF, BC, S. Ala., Troy, the tomato can i cant even remember by name, or E. Ky.? Clemson scored so quickly that I'd say the Tigers were the ones limiting their play counts. VA. Tech is better than moo when they have Brewer. You are correct they are similar in style, but I think Va Tech is marginally better than moo. The key to this game IMO is to eliminate the TOs....clean up the mesh points.

That kinship issue is one of the reasons the sane and reasonable NCSU fans should be very forceful in policing the insane and unreasonable NCSU fans. When you fail to do that, it is only natural that we see all of you as trash and/or insane freaks.
I grew up in SEC country with family members on all sides, including the wife's, that are SEC people of various schools. I know monomaniacal obsession by fans that leads to pure insanity. Nothing in the SEC is any worse than NCSU fans.
Instead of lecturing us, perhaps you should try to clean up your fellows and help them become grounded.

Of course I hope UNC crushes the wusspack, but I think this is going to be a back and forth close game that the Heels win in the end. My concern is state playing dirty. They absolutely have nothing to play for. They have beat nobody all year and should be heading to a crappy bowl. They want to ruin UNC' season. They tried to take out switzer last year. UNC probably will have issues running the ball early, but need to stick with it and will have success later on.
