I have never been to a game where the fans were so loud and into the game like last night. People young and old unlike were out of their seats clapping, yelling and cheering for the entire game. And even when Carolina was up double digits late no one was leaving the party. I can fully understand a weekend game where people are off work and they are ready to let out some steam but for a mid week game at nine to be this loud was hard to imagine unless u were there. I know Coach Williams and the entire team had to be pleased with the enthusiasm of the crowd because it was like a 6th man on the court pushing the team harder and harder...

Couldn't watch the game but I heard the crowd was great. Love to see that.

I have been really impressed with the home crowd this year!

I have been to a ton of Carolina games but Ill be damn if I have ever heard it like it was last night. Ill be honest I am almost 50 and damn its tiring to bring it like that. LOL I was screaming, yelling and jumping around!!! :) GO HEELS! P.S. Hicks PLEASE PLEASE STOP FOULING! :)

He shot it from Boone! :D

I hope our fans are enjoying JJ....he will be in the NBA next season, dangit.

Made the drive from Sampson County to the game last night. First game I've been to in a while and had the time of my life. A good, hard fought game that was particularly exciting in the second half when the Heels pulled away some. Was a very good crowd from start to finish.

I must admit I'm a little perturbed by Pitinos handling of the fan ejection. I don't know what was said, frankly don't care, but he could've just kept walking instead of getting butt hurt over it, which carried over into the postgame interviews.

Personally, it was frustrating to me seeing him hug the court while Carolina was on offense on that end in the first half. On several occasions he nearly made contact with the UNC ball handler. Maybe I'm making a bigger deal out of it than necessary but it was very noticeable.

I was at the game last night as well, cheering my butt off. It was a great crowd, and the first ACC game I've been to in quite a while. I usually just catch a non-con game or two in December.

Have not seen anyone talk about it yet, but saw videos popping up today of the light show created by people with the GoHeels app on their phone last night. Anyone have more info who was there? Looked really cool!
