one of my fav parts of halloween is watching rocky horror. Saw it for the first time in a theatre on franklin st in ‘79. Interesting tidbit, “time warp” song was written and added to screenplay as a filler to extend the play time. Also the actor plays the butler is who wrote the songs and screenplay.

I really need to watch that film, I guess. At this point, however, I'm somewhat concerned that it will be similar to my other reactions to so-called "classics" that I must have waited too long to see- Cool Hand Luke, The Last Picture Show, The Deer Hunter, and Taxi Driver, to name a few.

The Last Picture Show is sooo lame. Strong performances (even by Jeff Bridges who is notoriously lame), but with Bogdanovich as director it's no wonder. One bad creative choice after another throughout the film.

A pre-Bat out of Hell Meat Loaf kills it and Susan Sarandon in underwear the entire time isn't a bad watch.

Years ago, my buddies and I got thrown out of the theater during a late night viewing of RHPS.

I mean, is it really all that bad to be filling up water balloons to toss during the rain storm, instead of using some piddly little water gun? And yeah, we were using faucets in the women's bathroom to fill the balloons (since they had the men's room guarded). But c'mon... is that really a bannable offense?

Ho.....leeeee....CRAP!!!! Dude u havent seen rocky horror??!! Well admittedly its for people with a certain (cough) shall we say...refined sense of comedy. But the music alone makes it a must see. And who doesnt like aliens, transvestites, incest, and cannibalism anyway??!!!

But see it with someone who knows the audience participation schtick. Hilarious!!
