I don't post much anymore, but I had to get this off my chest:

1: That was NOT a home game for S.Car:
The game was played in Greenville...Greenville is in upstate South Carolina...upstate South Carolina is Clemson country. Period. Columbia is located in the midlands...the midlands is where S.Car is...if that's where the game was, then yes, that would have been a home game.

2: That WAS a home game for S.Car:
And? So what? How many tourney games--ACC and NCAA--have been in North Carolina?

3. That really WAS a home game for S.Car:
Yes, it was...for the WOMEN. The S.Car women's basketball team played a home game the same night as the men...the women--even though they won't win--have a better shot at advancing in their tourney than the men...so the real home game was in Columbia, SC.

4. Fan participation night.
Did the fans trip Grayson Allen? No. Did the cheering affect Duke at the free throw line? Certainly not. Were rested fans allowed to sub in for tired Gamecocks, resulting in a 60+ point second half? Don't think so. Just how--HOW-did the game being played in Greenville cause Duke to lose?

5. Bottom line.
Ball? Same size.
Hoop? Same height.
First weekend for Duke? Same result.

It is patently unfair to ask the poor pukies to play outside their rat holes in Derm, NYC, or NJ!
