For all of you grown ass men consistently crying, whining, degrading, and trolling the coaching staff and players, you are free to go cheer for Dook or any other program. Its one thing to voice frustrations and concerns with some tone of respect, but some of you are acting like straight clowns. The players and coaching staff deserve way better.

And a lot of people feel that UNC deserves a much better level of basketball than has been seen the last couple of years. UNC basketball is big business. This isn't some church team where everyone gets a pat on the head for working up a sweat no matter how they play. Coaches are well paid. Players get a UNC degree, or a path to millions in the NBA, if they pay a little bit of attention. So let's not go down the path that results don't matter. They matter very much.

I agree 100%! Family deserve better and peeps with even minimum reading comprehension know this has nothing to do with wanting better results! Everyone involved with this program wants and is fighting for improved results; however, nothing that has happened has justified the disrespect from so called Tar Heel Fans!

I know many will say something along the lines of: "he just hates when peeps disagree with him or we should be allowed free speech!' The answer is, free speech is guaranteed but that doesn't mean it is proper or even ethical to say everything you think or to not consider the feelings of others before you speak!

I’ve never understood why having higher expectations what seen as a bad thing. That’s what’s wrong with society as a whole.

Good to see most of the usual clowns replied like well, clowns. I'm sure you all arrived in the same car.

Its not about disagreeing or being frustrated, its about being respectful of players and coaches who give every ouch of themselves to try and put together a good program, entertain the fans, and represent North Carolina University. You won't be able to throw a unclassy tantrums on the message boards about Roy dedication to upperclassman, calling timeouts, or anything now. He gave everything he could give and now he has decided to hang it up. That deserves way more respect that some people gave him.

The only person who got that this wasn't about complaining, but about the lack of respect that some people were showing toward players and coaches.

Yup. Some will never actually take time and reflect on what they have said, done, or allowed to happen. Blame is the only out and usually it is accompanied by scapegoating and distraction! Being caught up on a word, phrase, or portion of a thought is the antithesis of actual discussion!

BUT: those who were the most vocal and the most disrespectful got their wish today! I truly hope they will turn out to be man or woman enough to at least congratulate our beloved Coach for the years he gave to our U! Anyone who cannot find it in their hearts to say a simple "Thank you" to Ol' Roy will have finally proved beyond the shadow of a doubt what they are!
