OOTB Rock Band Nomination Thread: Cliff Burton Region

RIP your work productivity. Also, good luck sorting out all the nominations and putting them in regions that make sense. You're a good man, Charlie Brown.
I feel you have complete autonomy to include any band you wish in the regions. A7X better damn,with an mn, make it into the field.
Sorry, I got to play by the rules. The field isn't 100% set yet, but it's not looking good for them.
I didn't vote. But if I had, my heavy metal / punk choices would've been*:
Avenged Sevenfold
Less than Jake (ska is a subset of punk, IMO)
Goldfinger
Bullet for my Valentine
KoRn
System of a Down
In Flames
Bad Religion
Chiodos
Senses Fail
Metallica
AFI (their early stuff was punk)
etc.
*I'm too young to really know much of Pantera. I do enjoy "Walk" though, obvs. I'm actually not a huge fan of straight-up metal. I like A7x's earlier stuff which blended metal aspects with screamo/hard rock/alt rock aspects. I consider A7x almost "pop metal" which is more what I like. I can go heavy with the best of them, but I have no interest in sitting through a Cradle of Filth or Lamb of God song.
I am disappoint. Lamb of God is great in concert. I saw them open for someone (can't remember who) and I was impressed.
@cletusnow and @TarHeelNation11 are getting lucky. A7X is going to make it in because of one Grammy nomination. Full seeding will be released shortly.
Alright folks the bracket is set for the Cliff Burton Region. A separate thread for voting on the matchups will be posted tomorrow. This will give you time to complain about who made it and who didn't as well as the seeding.

OHHHH shit. The dreaded 5/12 matchup. Motley Crue will need to Jump Start their Heart after A7x leaves them Trashed and Scattered and then Burn(s) it Down.
@cletusnow I don't think this is the thread where we vote. However, "Unholy Confessions" is an excellent choice for A7x. Waking the Fallen is still my favorite album by them.
