You will until about Season 6. I went from loving the show and not wanting it to ever end.......to hating the damn thing and wanting all the characters to get killed.

Yea I didn't wanna ruin that for him. 6-7 were subpar compared to the rest but it's always hard to have a "perfect ending" to a show like that. Well unless you're Breaking Bad.
I'm enjoying the wire, just started season 2! Love the Sopranos, one of best shows ever!
That show is the absolute worst thing that has ever happened to a motorcycle.

Maybe. But I didn't watch it bc I have a motorcycle I watched it for entertainment and it was fantastic.
I mean I agree w your point I guess. I've never been on a bike a day in my life so I wouldn't understand it from that aspect. My uncle is an avid rider and he feels the same as you.
Come on, quit being cryptic and tell us what you're talking about. Newbs inspired to ride powerful bikes and killing themselves off? Riders deciding it's cool to be in gangs and go around shooting each other? I don't ride and haven't watched SoA so ...
That show has gotten folks killed. I saw a local club cut the vest off a guy wearing SoA patches in the parking lot at the outlet stores in Smithfield. It's stupid but it's real.
Guys that have never ridden watch that show and suddenly want to be bad-ass bikers. They put on patches and start "clubs". It has caused a lot of problems.
Well if it offers you any peace of mind, I have yet to imitate the actions I have seen on tv, so if/when I watch Sons of Anarchy, I won't suddenly try to be a badass on a bike. Hell, I couldn't be a badass off a bike

And FWIW @heelbent , David Labrava, a real-life Hell's Angel from Oakland served as the technical advisor for the show. He plays Happy on the show, for those who have seen it.

Those BLS patches have been declared off-limits by the "Big Four" clubs as well; the Angels, Outlaws, Bandidos and Pagans.
All four are now in NC and they all have support clubs that do just that. The Angels have been here the longest and "own" most of the state. The Outlaws control some of Western NC. The Pagans are in Goldsboro and the Bandidos are now in Wilson and looking to expand.

What does it mean to "own" part of the state. We talkin.... hypothetical ownership, we talkin drugs... we talkin girls...? My interest is piqued. If you don't or can't or won't disclose that info, no worries lol.
And yes, @tarheel0910 I know who BLS is. And I guess I did know what a 3-piece patch is by sight. Just didn't know it had a name.

Hahaha I was gonna mention that. I seriously would be interested in your thoughts if you did watch a couple seasons of the show, if you can stomach it. I'd be interested in how similar any part of the show's description of motorcycle clubs is to how it actually is.
Nice - I've seen at least one episode of 3 of the 16 shows nominated. I've seen episodes in more than one season of 1 of the shows nominated. Sure as hell won't stop me from voting though. In that regard, it'll be just like a political election for most Americans.
