OOTB's Political Thread . ..

no response yet? This ought to do it...

the Civil War was about States' rights, not slavery.
No sir. They are both intertwined. Slavery was the main issue with states using the concept of "states rights" to maintain slavery. States Rights is a term used to mask true motivation for preserving slavery. They cared more about there economy than they did about human rights and were willing to go to war over it. So much that slave owner applied for and received reparations for lost economy after slavery. The concept of "states rights" or "giving the issue to the states" is still used as justification for concepts even today.

There it is. That's the post.

here it is. Go back and review about 500 posts going back several years and then realize that getting into the tail end of something is not the time to try to correct someone about things you have no awareness of. Or better yet, just read a few posts back and grasp that there is a newer, but related dynamic going on that you have no recognition of either.

If you would rather ASK about what you are commenting on, I would be happy to try to enlighten you. Otherwise, I think Roy is ready for another Coke.

I'm gonna see if I can coax one of them out of their cave. Watch this:

He’s too bitter for me these days. He’s still chasing that almighty dollar that he’s always bitching about. Hypocrite!
Anyone out there even care about all this drone stuff that's been going on?
It certainly bothers me. Our government has to know what this is about. More coverups.

No surprise from this administration
Worst administration on foreign policy in a long time, maybe ever. I think Biden is intentionally making things worse as he’s leaving. And Dims call Trump a POS.

Southerners were like the terrorists who use human shields.

States' Rights was their cover story.

Still is today. Not for slavery, but for other sorts of exploitation and bigotry.

whereas, your cover story is sheer ignorance. What else could explain the unsupported idiocy of your irrelevant post.

Hard for today's bigots to face the truth.
hard for you to deal with MAGA is more like it. If you could handle the truth you wouldn't spout so much idiocy. Just another lib who has to create and adhere to false narratives in order to have something to whine about. Ho hum.

I wonder if you have any ability at all to understand how transparent libhood is. We read you like a book. When there isn't some actual demon to exorcize, no problem... just check a classic out of the exorcized demon library or make a new one up. Any situation or person or inanimate object will do.

The lib motto is 'never let the truth get in the way of a good whine'.

Biden is toast and too far gone to realize anything about the inmates running the asylum. Those around him??? Still getting after their misguided ideas despite having their butts handed to them. It's gonna be scary what is discovered about them over the next few years.

You think our local libs are in hiding because they realize just how bad this administration is?

When you've been through a parade of misdirection all the way to out right lies, and it comes crashing down, it's hard to engage with those who weren't fooled and who didn't believe just because they were told to do so. Goodness knows what they're off doing at this point.

I think they are in hiding because it's become obvious how bad this admin has been all along, even as they were telling us how FOS we were to think so. So you are exactly correct...whatever they were hiding behind isn't there any more. They are just as exposed as Biden/Harris are.

It'll make your skin crawl to read about some of the societal filth he pardoned. But as someone pointed out, much more to come. Please President Trump, go after that jackass hard.
